Project Description

After making knives for more than five years, I finally decided to make a few in Damascus steel.   I tried out a couple different guard styles and handle contours.  One knife is Alabama Damascus “Redneck Skin” with stabilized mesquite burl, g10 spacers, and a stainless guard, OAL 9 inches.  The other is a piece of twist that I picked up from another maker, with a stainless/copper/stainless layered guard and stabilized juniper burl, OAL 8.5 inches.  Ballpark price on a knife like this is $300.
