Project Description

Ever wonder how a complex knife goes together? If you’re brave, foolish, or curious, this knife comes apart. It is a “takedown” construction, held together with guide pins and a threaded finial nut. This knife features random pattern 1084/15n20 Damascus that I purchased off of the Knifedogs forums several years ago. The guard and spacer are fluted 416 stainless. The finial is turned 416 stainless, and the 416 butt cap is contoured to match the stag. The handle is a fine Sambar stag taper. Overall length is 11 inches tip to finial, and the blade is 5 3/4. The sheath is my work as well, right hand, tooled, with a keeper strap and stud.
